The beautiful Alternanthera reineckii Red Ruby XXL is a large version of the new cultivar that features ruby red veining which contrasts with the red base colour of the leaves. It has a compact growth habit and a somewhat slower growth rate compared to other Alternanthera varieties and is ideal for larger aquariums due to its size.
You can place it in the background of your aquarium, where it can reach a height of up to 40 cm. It thrives at temperatures between 22 and 28 °C and is flexible in terms of water hardness. It grows best in medium to high light and adds colour to your aquarium. With the right care, this red beauty will add a glorious touch to your aquascape.
