The JBL ProTemp are safety control heaters with a protective basket for optimal temperature control in aquariums.

Heating for the aquarium
Fish adapt to the outside temperature. The vital functions of warm animals decrease with falling temperatures. The right aquarium temperature is therefore important to ensure problem-free food intake and smooth metabolic function. Depending on the origin of the fish, the temperature at which they feel comfortable varies. Temperatures that are permanently too low sometimes lead to diseases and even death of the cared for animals.

Easy installation
The heater is placed in the protective basket supplied. The desired temperature is selected on the setting wheel and the heating element at least up to the “min. water level ”immersed in the aquarium. It is easily attached to the aquarium using the suction cups. As soon as the heater is connected to the mains, the control lamp lights up. The JBL ProTemp can also be installed and used horizontally, for example in a turtle aquarium. Alternatively, it can also be used in external filter tanks and thus ensures constant temperature control of the aquarium water without disturbing the appearance of the main tank.

Optimal temperature transfer
The safety heater from JBL offers optimal heat transference in the temperature range of 20-34 ° C. A control accuracy of +/- 0.5 ° C is guaranteed with the help of the setting wheel. The maximum achievable temperature depends on the water volume and the temperature difference to the surrounding room.

Maximum security
Embedded in a protective basket prevents the fish from burning themselves. The heater is waterproof, submersible up to 100 cm and very stable with 2 mm safety quartz glass. If the water level drops or the heater is removed from the water, the safety thermal switch switches off the power supply to protect against overheating. The JBL ProTemp safety heater is TÜV-CERTIFIED.
