Description
'Christmas Moss' on root, Vesicularia montagnei, is originally from Asia and is easy to care for. It reaches 2 to 5 cm in height and looks great on roots in the foreground and middle ground of aquariums. It tolerates various water conditions.
It is also called "Christmas Moss" because of its shape which resembles a fir tree with triangular, medium green leaves. It grows slowly, forming attractive cushions on roots.
It is robust, does not require CO2 and thrives in low light. It can be easily propagated by dividing.
Vesicularia montagnei 'Christmas' on root is safe for aquariums and does not bring undesirable organisms with it. It is also suitable for use in shrimp aquariums.
