Tropica Monosolenium tenerum CUP

Monosolenium tenerum is a type of delicate liverwort that forms dense and bushy cushions. This distinctive appearance can be used to decorate intricate layouts in the aquarium. It should be fixed in place after planting for it to take root quickly. It is fairly tolerant of the water temperature and water. It grows and thrives with strong light and added CO₂. It responds well to occasional doses of phosphorus. The foreground and middle area are reserved for low-growing mosses but the 2 to 5 cm tall plant should be left undisturbed. It provides a great hiding place for small animals to rest and take shelter.

• Water values: Very soft to very hard - very tolerant
• pH value: 5 to 8
• CO₂ and nutrients: recommended, phosphorus doses
• Propagation: separated plant parts (rhizoid formation)

Note: The cups are grown in a lab. Aquatic plants grown in this in-vitro culture are sterile. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimp and can be used immediately. In vitro plants do not harbour stowaways such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.
