Description
With its upright growth, large and beautifully embossed leaves and attractive colours ranging from green to orange-red, the Ludwigia repens 'Mesakana' expresses sophisticated elegance in any aquarium - perfect for aquariums that are not too small. This plant adds a colours and texture to the middle and background. As it grows quickly and doesn't require special care, it is suitable for beginners too.
Ludwigia repens 'Mesakana' has a few peculiarities that need to be taken into account before you can enjoy it in all its glory. In addition to sufficient light, it also has a high demand for microelements. It also responds well to added CO2 and can grow to a height of 20 to 25 cm. It develops into a true beauty in soft water. In terms of temperature, it is tolerant and can do well in temperatures from 4 to 28°C. The pH value should be stable between 5 and 7. It looks particularly good in contrasting company: fine, deep green plants provide an ideal setting and enhance the interesting appearance of this Ludwigia. Propagation is possible via cuttings.
Note: The plant cups are grown in a laboratory. Aquatic plants grown in vitro culture are grown in sterile conditions. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. These in vitro plants harbour no snails or parasites. No pesticides have been used.
