Description
The Oase OxyMax is a complete air pump set that you can connect and use immediately and is suitable for use in fresh and saltwater.
With the Oase OxyMax, you rely on high quality and with extreme energy efficiency! The very quiet air pump provides you with a reliable supply of oxygen in the aquarium, which you can regulate and set very easily and simply on the pump. Especially in summer, when the temperatures rise, the oxygen content in the aquarium water automatically drops - you can recognise this primarily when your snails climb up the panes and your fish swim over the surface of the water with their mouths open. Now at the latest, you should ensure a very good surface movement, because this ensures the gas exchange in the aquarium and without vital oxygen in the water, your animals can get sick and even die very quickly! With the OxyMax you can deal with this situation in advance and in a very relaxed and cool way: Install the pump, set the air vent with the practical suction cup in the aquarium very far down on an aquarium pane or simply hang it on and shortly afterwards you will notice how your animals visibly "breathe a sigh of relief" (and are back in their normal swimming zone). If possible, you should always have an air pump in the house; just so that you can react quickly enough. Incidentally, the OxyMax is not only very energy efficient, but it also runs very quietly, so that no annoying humming noises distract you from your favourite series or wake up your roommates.
Tip: If you do not install a check valve in the hose, you should make sure that the pump is higher than the water level so that no water flowing back can enter the pump. But if you want to be on the safe side, you should integrate a safety valve!
