Description
The slightly more challenging little water star comes from Southeast Asia. This aquarium plant grows 5 to about 10 inches high and is perfect for fore to the middle ground of the aquarium.
The water star is very beautiful and an eye-catcher in the aquarium. The elongated leaves with the wavy edge are brightly coloured light green and stand around the stem in a star shape.
Additional fertilisation with CO2 and a good supply of plant nutrients and medium to strong light are needed for this beautiful aquarium plant to grow well and compact. Under much light the star-herb remains very compact and short, in weaker light it could split and grow out and upwards.
