Description
Pogostemon deccanensis has dense leaves, upright growth, lush greenery and narrow stems that resemble small conifer seedlings. Group plantings create a great backdrop in the background both in a lush or minimalist layout. In larger aquariums, small arrangements can be used to visually break up the foreground. In good light conditions it grows quickly and compactly as it forms a strong root network. Regular thinning is recommended. It is considered an extremely long-lasting and easy care plant.
- Light requirements: rather bright and sunny
- Temperature: 20 to 30°C
- Water values: soft to medium hard
- pH value: 5 to 8
- CO2 and nutrient addition: recommended
- Propagation: cuttings / side shoots
Note: The plants are grown in-vitro in sterile conditions in a laboratory. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. In-vitro plants do not harbour pests such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.
