Description
Microsorum pteropus, the Java fern, in XL format creates a magnificent plant world in your aquarium immediately! From large to small, lancet-like to wavy, the leaf shapes of the Java fern are as varying as its locations in the aquarium. You can attach it to roots or stones to create a natural look in the tank - the robust fern even thrives on sandy substrate.
This Java fern grows best in moderate to normal light. However it does well even in shady locations. It often forms small daughter plants on older leaves, which you can easily attach elsewhere with a fishing line. Thus this low-maintenance plant is easy to propagate and adds fresh new green accents to your aquarium.
