Description
The Lagenandra meeboldii Red native to India impresses with its beautiful red hues and creates an interesting highlight in your underwater world. It belongs to the Lagenandra genus which is closely related to the popular Cryptocorynes and lives in similar habitats. In contrast to many other Lagenandra species, this variety is extremely robust and is ideal for aquariums.
Like its Anubias relatives, this plant develops a strong rhizome, which should not be tied down but planted in the substrate. It will thrive there, especially when planted in a bright spot, and will bear magnificent leaves in various shades of red and red-brown.
