Description
Amblystegium serpens, also known as a "nano" moss, is a fascinating epiphyte that grows naturally in various parts of the world and does particularly well in the northern hemisphere. It has gained a reputation as an excellent way to green up bare roots and rocks in aquariums thanks to its remarkable adaptability to different habitats.
With its fine, upright shoots, the plant forms dense, green carpets for a natural look. The epiphyte is particularly demanding when it comes to the quality of the water - it prefers fresh and clear water.
- Light requirements: medium to low
- Optimal temperature: 10 to 26°C

Note: The plants available in cups are grown in-vitro in sterile conditions in a laboratory. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. In-vitro plants do not harbour pests such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.
