Description
The relatively easy to care for Cryptocoryne wendtii brown or water trumpet comes from Southeast Asia and tolerates soft to hard water. The rosette plant that grows to 10 to 20 cm comes into its own in the middle ground of the aquarium.
This variant has beautiful colourful foliage: brown to dark green shades. You can easily propagate Cryptocoryne wendtii brown by cutting off and planting the small daughter plants that form at the base of the rosette.
Our expert Oliver Knott recommends:
The beautiful, colourful Cryptocoryne wendtii brown is a great eye-catcher in the aquarium and looks most beautiful under lots of light and with good CO2 fertilisation.
