ARKA myAqua Multifilter 4 Litres

The ARKA Core Multi-Filter MF4000 is a multifunctional filter made of robust and food-safe plastic that can be filled with various filter materials (e.g. resin/mixed-bed resin, absorbers, activated carbon and much more). The MF4000 is ideally suited as a resin filter downstream of an osmosis system, but it can also be used universally. This is made possible on the one hand by the 1" built-in water-neutral plastic thread and the reduction from 1" to 3/4" and on the other hand by the ¾" to ¼" connection pieces included in the scope of delivery. The filter is pressure-resistant up to 28 bar and is characterised by a double O-Ring seal.

A 4000 ml filter cartridge is supplied in the 20 x 4.5 inch filter housing. Fine filters are installed on both sides of the inner filter cartridge. These ensure that suspended matter does not get into the internal filter or parts of the filter material from the internal filter. The supplied inner filter cartridge can be refilled, but can also be replaced with inner cartridges of similar sizes.

Installation:

1. Mount the included wall bracket to the desired location and screw the MF4000 to the wall bracket.
2. Now remove the main body of the MF4000 with the enclosed filter cartridge wrench.
3. Remove the cartridge from the main body and open it with the top screw cap.
4. Fill the inner cartridge with the filter material, screw the lid back on and put the cartridge back into the filter housing.
5. Screw the base body to the filter cover. Use the filter cartridge key for this.
6. Connect the water source and a drain hose to the designated water inlets (IN) and water outlets (OUT). Make sure that the hoses are connected correctly and tightly.

Danger!

The multi-filter must be securely fastened to prevent it from tipping over! Therefore, use the included wall mount!

The maximum pressure resistance of 28 bar must not be exceeded!

Bleed the housing by pressing and holding the red vent button (on top of the filter cover) until water comes out of the housing.

The manufacturer recommends using the included filter sponges.

If you want to use the enclosed transitions, please make sure that the O-ring seals that are also supplied are correctly inserted. Alternatively, you can wrap the thread sides several times with the Teflon tape included in the scope of delivery.

Before using the ¾'' to ¼'' transitions, you must note the following: Before inserting the hose, remove the blue retaining rings and press the receptacle down. Once the hose is plugged in, you need to put the locking rings back on.
