To keep algae growth in check, The TWINSTAR inhibits green algae very effectively and has no harmful influence on the ecosystem in the aquarium. It 'switches off' algae spores and thus prevents the algae from multiplying. The TWINSTAR has no negative consequences for the plants, the fish and the aerobic bacteria in the aquarium and does not emit any toxins.

Now it's possible for beginners to run a beautiful and healthy planted aquarium.

We work hard to avoid green algae. Water is changed so that excess nutrients are carried out at the beginning, and sometimes the amount of light is even limited. Mastering these nuances distinguishes the beginner from the expert. How you regulate the availability of nutrients is also a matter of experience, and so this becomes an all-important factor in whether the aquarium looks beautiful and healthy or not.

The TWINSTAR creates an optimal environment in the aquarium. Excess nutrients are used up as the plants grow properly. This is the only way to really keep the algae in check. Healthy plants produce a lot of oxygen, and if a lot of oxygen is dissolved in the water, a lot of aerobic bacteria can settle, which ensure a favourable climate in the aquarium.

The Twinstar consumes less than 10 watts per hour.

Twinstar is only active for a few seconds, generating a fine oxygen mist that dissolves after a few minutes.
