Description
Tropica's grassy Vallisneria spiralis 'Tiger' is an easy-to-grow plant native to Asia. This low-maintenance plant grows well in all light and water conditions making it suitable for beginners. It sends out runners and has 1-2 cm wide leaves that grow 30 to 40 cm tall. to a height of 30 to 50 cm. The graceful, bright green leaves add a lively touch to aquariums. The leaves have brown stripes giving it the name 'tiger'.
Due to its compact size, this easy to grow plant is particularly effective in smaller aquariums but can also be placed in larger tanks. The narrow leaves do not cast a lot of shade and thus the plant looks great in the background. It is easy to propagate with its runners.
