Tropica Ludwigia inclinata

The stem plant Ludwigia inclinata 'Cuba' is very special for Tropica as it was found in Cuba by the company's founder! The upright growing plant can be found there in swampy areas and is ideal for tropical aquariums.

The 5 to 20 cm tall plant is a demanding beauty. In addition to lots of light and plenty of CO₂, it also needs fertiliser and good water circulation. Under such optimal conditions, it grows very rapidly and must therefore be trimmed repeatedly to prevent it from overgrowing the aquarium. The cut shoots can be planted in the ground where they quickly form new roots and grow into new plants.

The colours of the narrow, oval leaves are reminiscent of a beautiful tropical sunset. The golden, orange and red hues create a fantastic little tropical haven for your aquarium dwellers!
