Tetra PlantaMin is a foliage fertiliser with a controlled release formula that provides nutrients over a period of 4 weeks and is only suitable for freshwater aquariums and is available in various containers.

Only with healthy, magnificent aquatic plants does an aquarium become an optical eye-catcher. Their green often really brings out the colours of the fish. Without the variety of plants, many aquariums would appear bare, the fish would lack hiding places and possibly spawning grounds. Plants not only serve as a decorative element but also perform important biological functions in the aquarium. They enrich the water with oxygen and reduce nitrogen compounds. There are also fish and invertebrates that tirelessly scrape unicellular organisms and algae from the leaves all day long. So they are also a settlement area for feed. Three factors are necessary for healthy plant growth: the nourished substrate, sufficient light and a carbon source with which plants carry out photosynthesis and thus ensure the oxygen content in the aquarium. Vigorous plant growth is the best way to prevent algae growth.

Thanks to the special controlled release formula, the nutrients contained in Tetra PlantaMin are made available to the plants over a period of 4 weeks. Iron, potassium, manganese and other essential trace elements ensure splendid, healthy plant growth. Vigorous and healthy plants are the best algae prophylaxis. PlantaMin enables nutrients to be absorbed through the leaves and does not pollute the aquarium water as it is free of nitrates and phosphates.

Application
Add 5 ml weekly to 20 litres of aquarium water. Use twice a week for heavy planting.
