Description

Prime® is a concentrated water conditioner for fresh and salt water that removes chlorine and chloramine and also detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and heavy metals with the help of a binding agent. The product is non-acidic and does not affect the pH values.

When to use Prime®?

Tip: Prime® does not overactivate skimmers and is therefore also suitable for reef aquariums.

Recommended use:

Note: The sulphur odour is normal.

Use 5 ml Prime® per 200 litres of new aquarium water. You can add Prime® directly to the aquarium, but it is preferable to add it to fresh water first.

If the chloramine concentration is very high, you can use double the amount. To detoxify nitrites, use 5 times the dose. If the temperature is below 30 °C and the chlorine or ammonia levels are low, half the dose is recommended.

  • Prime® can be used during a water change phase to minimise ammonia/nitrite toxicity
  • Perfect for the initial set-up
  • When transporting or quarantining fish, you can use it in combination with StressGuard™. Combine it with Stability® when introducing new fish into the aquarium.
