Not up to the expectations

Relatively unhappy with this filter. I've been running it for a few weeks now. It is loud, and air bubble get released relatively frequently. It does seem to be a common issue according to a few searches online, so unlikely to do with my set up. I was expecting more with all the hype on this filter from (sponsored?) aquascapers videos.
