Description
You can create beautiful natural-looking aquascapes with the grey to brown coloured, very porous pieces of Galapagos stone. They are fantastic for creating expressive underwater landscapes and can be planted with mosses and epiphytes such as ferns, Bucephalandra or Anubias.
Once under water, Galapagos stones take on a darker colour. This natural stone is water neutral and only slightly hardens the water. The porous surface offers the ideal habitat for beneficial bacteria in the aquarium.
The spectacular shapes of these natural stones are an absolute eye-catcher in freshwater aquariums as well as in terrariums. These stones contain lime and can slightly harden the water in an aquarium.
