Description
Excellent water quality is the basis for happy plants, animals and aquarium owners! FilterAction Nitrate Remover by OASE optimally supports your maintenance routine if you want to gently remove nitrate and already use active denitrifiers (anaerobic bacteria) to maintain your aquarium: The pellets create oxygen-free zones (anaerobic zones) by forming biofilms - bacteria need these to survive and function. In addition, the preparation increases the carbonate hardness of the water and stabilises the pH value, the degradation of nitrate happens in the long term. Practical: Fewer water changes are necessary, which not only reduces your effort but also the stress for all aquarium inhabitants!
The product is packed ready for use in mesh bags, which can be easily integrated into a filter system. It is suitable for use in freshwater and saltwater tanks. 100 grams of pellets remove 30 grams of nitrate, filtered-out pollutants no longer enter the water.
Note: The combination with KlarWasser Boost Mix bacteria from OASE is recommended by the manufacturer as optimal!
