Description
PhosLess filter cartridges by Oase are the perfect accessory for a clean pond!
The set includes one PhosLess CA filter cartridge and one PhosLess FS filter cartridge. PhosLess CA is a porous, white calcium mineral that binds phosphates and heavy metals effectively and permanently. PhosLess FS is a brown, granular iron mineral that binds phosphate and sulphide.
One set binds 50 g of phosphate which would otherwise have been food for 2 kg of dry algae mass! The innovative exchange system removes phosphate from the pond, without any re-dissolving.
With the practical refill pack, the filter cartridges can be refilled repeatedly as needed!
Application:
- The filter cartridges are designed for use in a Oase Biotec Screenmatic pond filter.
- They can also be used in other filters or in places in the pond with a good water current.
- For the initial treatment in heavily polluted ponds, the manufacturer recommends using it over a period of 6-8 weeks, after which they can be replaced as required.
- The manufacturer recommends replacing the filter in early spring when there is a measurable increase in phosphate, when there is a noticeable increase in algae growth or after introducing a total of 5 kg of fish food.
