JBL ProScape N Macro Elements, 250ml

JBL ProScape N Macroelements is a nitrogen plant fertiliser for aquascaping aquariums and supplies plants with the necessary nutrients and prevents nitrogen deficiency.

JBL ProScape N Macroelements supplies the aquarium water with nitrogen in the form of ammonium and nitrate salts. This gives the aquatic plants the necessary nitrogen supply. Potassium and calcium are also added. Nitrogen in the form of oxygen compounds (NOX) or hydrogen compounds (amines - NH2) have crucial functions in the organism, among other things, in protein metabolism. While nitrates are more often in excess in aquariums with more fish and can trigger algae growth there, nitrates in plant aquariums are often insufficiently available due to their consumption by aquatic plants and thus limit growth.

Since the specific consumption cannot be predicted exactly, we recommend regular checking of the nitrate and phosphate values, especially before each subsequent replenishment. The nutrient consumption across all necessary micro and macro elements is unpredictable, especially with some microelements, and depends heavily on the cultivated aquatic plants. At very low concentrations, these microelements cannot be measured using aquarium tests. It is therefore advisable to prevent the accumulation of individual nutrients by regularly changing the water at a rate of 30-50% weekly and adding fertiliser with JBL ProScape Fe + Microelements in plant aquariums. JBL ProScape N Macroelements can be used safely in the aquarium with invertebrates. The fertiliser is not harmful to shrimp, crabs and snails.
