JBL PlanktonPur is a treat for aquarium fish in fresh and saltwater aquariums, but also for invertebrates. This feed contains pure, natural plankton without added preservatives and is a revolution in fish nutrition. The zooplankton for JBL PlanktonPur is sustainably caught in the cold, unpolluted Arctic waters of Norway using a special fishing method.

Immediately afterwards, the plankton caught for JBL Plankton Pur (mainly crustaceans and molluscs) is gently preserved using a newly developed method, which means that no added preservatives are required. The high quality and gentle processing of this natural product can also be seen in the high water content of JBL Plankton Pur. Natural zooplankton has a water content (moisture content) of 80-90%, this content remains in the JBL PlanktonPur and ensures maximum acceptance even for sensitive fish.

JBL PlanktonPur is ideal for fish farming in fresh and saltwater aquariums and can increase the survival rate to 100% and up to 100% higher growth rate and a 3.5 times higher stress tolerance are possible. Compared to feed enriched with Artemia nauplii, the bacterial density of the dangerous Vibrio species can be minimized by 18 times.

The special processing ensures that the individual zooplankton organisms are not damaged. This reduces the loss of nutrients and ensures a high intake of vitamins, trace elements and other vital nutrients through the intake of the ornamental fish.

This pure natural product is rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and promotes the colours with natural astaxanthin. Thanks to the practical sachets, JBL Plankton Pur can be added directly to the aquarium water.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed a stick once a day. A stick of size S2 is sufficient for aquarium fish 2-6 centimetres in size in a 200-litre aquarium or S5 for 250 litres.
