JBL pH-Minus, 250ml

The JBL pH-Minus is a water conditioner for lowering the pH value for freshwater aquariums and is available in different units.

Nature at home - home to fish and plants
Fish should feel just as comfortable in the aquarium as in the great outdoors. Water dwellers have adapted to the acidity (pH value) of their habitat and want to find similar conditions in the aquarium. The wrong pH value not only means stress for the aquarium inhabitants but can also be the cause and trigger for illnesses or reduce life expectancy. The JBL water conditioners lower or raise the pH value and make the aquarium water suitable for fish. The great advantage of JBL pH-Minus: the quick lowering of the pH value is achieved thanks to oak extract and is phosphate-free!

PH levels
The optimum pH value for keeping most freshwater fish and plants is in the neutral range around 7. JBL pH-Minus lowers undesirably high pH values and at the same time the carbonate hardness in the aquarium. This is often necessary for areas with high carbonate hardness. The natural oak extract promotes fish health.

Application

• At pH> 8 10 ml / 40 l aquarium water
• At pH 7-8 10 ml / 80 l aquarium water
• Do not use at pH values below 7!

After each addition of pH minus, the water should be mixed thoroughly, if necessary can be added after 24 hours. Before and after each application of JBL pH-Minus, the pH value and the KH should be checked, e.g. With the JBL pH Test Set 3.0-10 and JBL KH Test Set.

Tip
A CO2 fertiliser system is recommended for long-term and gentle pH reduction!
