The Jet Steel Tube Kit is designed specifically for Fluval's high-performance, energy-efficient FX4 and FX6 canister filters . The adjustable jet steel tube distributes the filtered water evenly and everywhere, so there is some movement of the water surface. This not only promotes water quality and normal gas exchange between water and air, but also delivers nutrients to every corner of the aquarium.

Application:

Attach the jet steel tube to the filter outlet of your Fluval FX canister filter with a hose adapter. Adjust the length of the tube to the length of your aquarium. Position the jet steel tube either below or above the water surface. Depending on how you have positioned the tube, the water surface will move more or less:

Under the water surface: regular and gentle water currents

above the water surface : increased water movement, optimal for oxygen generation
