Fluval External Filter 07 Series, 207

The 07 series of filters from Fluval takes external filters to the next level. Fluval didn't just do a little cosmetics - no, the 07 series shines through optimisation and innovation in many respects. The external filters are quieter by a quarter of the volume than the previous models, are more robustly manufactured and significantly more powerful. However, this was not at the expense of energy consumption. For example, the filter models 107 and 207 only use 10 watts, which corresponds to the energy of a single LED light.

With the eTEC principle, Fluval has succeeded in optimising design, material and manufacturing methods. This offers the user many advantages, both technically and in terms of comfort.

One focus in the development was on the stability and durability of the materials, which is why a number of the components are now glass fibre reinforced.

Another focus was the simplicity in handling. Shapes, closures and handles are now more ergonomic; Systems like self-priming are better, and items like the media baskets are easier to handle.

NEW and an outstanding feature is the 30% larger pre-filter area.
