Vesicularia ferriei is characterised by its strongly branched shoots that hang down. In low light, the moss can also grow horizontally.

Vesicularia ferriei is a robust and easy-care moss that thrives in most aquarium setups. It is ideal for tying down to roots or stones and grows quickly thanks to fine, clinging roots. Beautiful layouts can be created by regularly trimming the moss cushions. It is also suitable to create a "treetop" where it can be trimmed to resemble a miniature treetop.

This moss does not require CO₂ and grows well even under low lighting conditions. Strong lighting and CO₂ are not a problem either.

Propagating the moss is easy by dividing the moss cushions. You don't even need a special tool or scissors - you can simply pull the cushions part with your fingers.
