Description
Discover the fascinating Alternanthera reineckii Red in XXL format for your aquarium! This South American stem plant is a true eye-catcher with its rich brown to cherry-red coloured stems and leaves. Especially in combination with sword plants, it adds a colourful touch to your discus aquarium and creates a vibrant underwater landscape.
To maintain the striking intense colours of this plant, make sure the lighting is good and ensure a sufficient supply of CO₂. It prefers a background location and has a medium growth rate. Trim or cut back the stems every 6-8 weeks or so. This keeps the plant compact and retains its attractive shape.
This is not a pretty plant it is also easy to care for if you pay attention to its needs. You can create new accents in your aquarium and add a special touch to your aquascape.
