Description

In contrast to many of its relatives, the Rotala rotundifolia "Green" actually grows light green, even with strong light irradiation, the typical red colour does not appear. Their geographical origin is in Asia. Thanks to its bushy growth and overhanging structures, it fits well into the middle and background; it reacts positively to strong cuts - ideal for effective aquascaping.

Since it is easy to care for and grows quickly, it is suitable for both beginners and advanced users. It has a high-temperature tolerance - it can cope with 4 to 32°C. Medium-light intensity and medium C02 values do not affect their vertical or lateral growth. In terms of water hardness, she is happy from soft to medium-hard. Designing aquascapers use their joy of growth and possibly overhanging formations for demanding plantings in the middle and background, for example, to reinforce the impression of a hilly soil structure. Thanks to its lush green, it also visually loosens up reddish dominated underwater landscapes. Propagation takes place via cuttings.

Note: The cups are grown in the laboratory. Aquatic plants from the so-called in vitro culture are grown sterile. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimp and can be used immediately. With in vitro plants, there are no stowaways such as snails or parasites, and pesticides are also completely avoided.
