Tropica Vesicularia ferriei 'Weeping Moss'

The Vesicularia ferriei, also known as "Weeping Moss", is characterised by its highly branched shoots and hanging growth habit. The moss can also grow horizontally under low light.

The Vesicularia ferriei "Weeping Moss" is a hardy and easy-care moss that thrives in most aquarium setups. It is best tied to roots or rocks as it grows quickly with its fine clinging roots. Prune it regularly to maintain an attractive shape. A special art form involves shaping delicate roots into miniature tree stems and using the Weeping Moss as a treetop to create the illusion of an underwater tree.

It does not require CO₂ and grows well even in low lighting conditions. However strong light and CO₂ are not a problem.

Propagating water moss is easily accomplished by dividing the pads. You don't even need scissors as you can simply pull the pads apart with your fingers.
