Tropica Anubias Barteri var. Caladiifolia XL

This plant comes from Africa, where it grows as a epiphyte partially above and also below the water. It has broad, heart-shaped leaves and is the largest of Anubias barteri.

This Anubias is ideal for greening root wood and stones in the middle ground of the aquarium. As a shade plant, the caladium-leaved spear leaf is also ideal in the shade of higher plants or in less well-lit aquariums.

This spear blade also thrives outside the water in very humid air, which is why it is ideal for greening humid terrariums or paludariums. In addition, their firm, tough leaves prevent herbivores from attacking these Anubias.

The plant should be tied up and not planted in order to prevent the rootstock from rotting.
