For your aquarium inhabitants, water with a sufficiently high oxygen content is vital. Plants produce oxygen during the day but, without light, become oxygen consumers at night. Since this can lead to a critical lack of oxygen in the aquarium water, it is important to ventilate the aquarium with an air pump, especially at night. The extremely quiet Tetra AirSilent air pump was specially developed for aquariums in living rooms and bedrooms. This noise level, made possible by the piezoelectric effect, corresponds to the volume of a low whisper. At the same time, this effect ensures that the Tetra AirSilent air pump uses very little energy. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the air pump can be installed inconspicuously in the aquarium. The practical suction cup for attachment to the aquarium reduces the transmission of vibrations.

The Tetra AirSilent air pump is suitable for aquariums with a capacity of 10 to 80 litres.
