Varied and high-quality food is the basis for healthy, colourful and active fish in the aquarium. In nature, fish find a wide selection of different feed sources. These include insect larvae, worms, small crabs, as well as algae and numerous plants. You should also offer this variety in the aquarium. It's easy with Sera feed. In addition to the balanced all-rounders of the Sera Vipan family, the Sera food range offers a large, clear selection of specialities for every purpose. When selecting the raw materials, great importance is attached to quality, natural purity and their responsible extraction from sustainable sources. The animal organism needs various nutrients for life, which must be provided in sufficient quantities through food. Depending on the type of fish, the environment and the stage of development, the demands on the form (depending on the source) and thus the specific usability of these nutrients and the weighting of the basic building blocks vary. Sera attaches great importance to avoiding insufficiently usable additives such as soybean meal, binders such as guar gum, synthetic amino acids, but also flavours and attractants, as well as preservatives such as ethoxyquin and especially materials from genetically modified organisms.

This feed is part of the "Sera Nature" product line, which does not use any colouring or preservatives. A varied diet with natural ingredients is the best protection against deficiency symptoms and helps you to support the health and vitality of your animals. For this reason, the food contains natural ingredients such as spirulina, krill or sustainable insect flour from the larva of the soldier fly (Hermetia). The signets on the front of the packaging indicate the ingredients and their proportion in the feed.

Sera GVG-Mix Nature is a natural feed made from gently produced flakes, which contains a mixture of dried, whole feed animals such as krill, red mosquito larvae and daphnia and thus enables a varied diet. The food is particularly rich in minerals and trace elements and promotes the health and fertility of your fish. The stable flakes are suitable for all ornamental fish swimming on the water surface and do not cloud the water.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed Sera GVG-Mix Nature 1-2 times a day in small portions, young fish should be fed 3-6 times a day (you can also crumble the flakes and sprinkle them on the water surface!) Feed only as much as the animals can consume in a few minutes. If you can still see food residues after an hour, you should vacuum them up and reduce the amount of food the next time you feed. Once opened, the food tin should always be tightly closed and used up within a few months to prevent loss of freshness.

Tip: Regularly put on a fasting day to boost the animals' metabolism and to promote species-appropriate behaviour through active foraging. The main food can be supplemented with other Sera foods to optimally alternate the daily menu of the fish.
