Sera FD Tubifex are dried Tubifex (tubeworms) available as a treat for all ornamental fish in freshwater aquariums and is available in various containers.

Sera FD Tubifex are a treat for strengthening and consist of 100% dried Tubifex. Tubeworms are part of the natural diet of numerous predominantly carnivorous fish. FD Tubifex are particularly high in protein and, as a concentrate, effectively promote fish growth and give new energy. FD Tubifex can quickly convince and rebuild fish that have been weakened and emaciated due to illness or stress but are also very picky. Due to the gentle freeze-drying process, all valuable nutrients of this pure natural food are preserved.

Feeding recommendation: Feed Sera FD Tubifex 1-2 times a day in small portions alternating with the main feed. Young animals are fed 3-6 times a day. Only feed as much as the animals can eat in a few minutes. If you can still see food residues after an hour, you should vacuum them up and reduce the amount of feed the next time you feed. Once opened, the food tin should always be tightly closed and used up within a few months to prevent loss of freshness.

Tip: Regularly put on a fasting day to boost the animals' metabolism and to promote behaviour that is appropriate for the species through active foraging. The main food can be supplemented with other Sera foods to optimally alternate the daily menu of the fish.
