Olibetta Starter Bacteria - Freshwater & Saltwater, 118 ml

Olibetta Starter Bacteria is a 100% biological product that offers the ideal start when setting up a new aquarium as well as optimal care during regular water changes. The product contains a mix of brackish water bacteria (Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira and Nitrobacter) which ensure biochemical metabolism. They reach their full effectiveness at 25°C (the normal temperature in an aquarium) thus ensuring that you can quickly and safely stock your aquarium with fish and other aquarium dwellers.

The starter bacteria remove ammonium and ammonia through the nitrification process where ammonium/ammonia is first oxidised to nitrite and then converted to nitrate.

Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Caution: Store the unopened bottle at normal room temperature. Shake well before use. Once opened, store the bottle in the refrigerator.

Dosage:

►For new installations: Add 10 ml Starter Bacteria per 100 L of aquarium water daily until ammonia, ammonium and nitrite levels are in the zero range.

►While changing the water: Add 10 ml Starter Bacteria per 100 L of aquarium water once for every water change or when stocking with new fish.

After adding the product, please turn off ozone and UV clarifiers for 12 to 24 hours.

Note:

The product is safe for all ornamental fish, corals and invertebrates. However, do not use it for animals used for food production.

In case of eye contact, rinse carefully under running water for several minutes. Not suitable for consumption! Please keep away from children.
