Thanks to its specially developed bacterial mixture consisting of 100% living bacteria, Special Blend ensures a stable biological cycle in freshwater and saltwater aquariums by supporting the degradation and composting of organic substances and releasing elements such as sulfur and nitrogen.

Application and dosage:

• Starting dose: Day 1: 25 ml to 100 l water / Day 8, 15, 22, 29: 15 ml to 100 l water
• Maintenance dosage: 7.5 ml per 100 l of water every 14 days

Please note the following:

• The initially perceptible sulfur smell of Special Blend disappears after dosing.
• Since Special Blend is a biological ecosystem in the bottle, there may be deviations in smell, colour and appearance.
• When setting up new saltwater aquariums, you should only add Special Blend 24 hours after the seawater has been set up.
• For optimal results, you should dose Special Blend directly into the aquarium during the light phase.
• Since UV light and ozone can kill bacteria, you should switch them off for 12 to 24 hours during use.
• Make sure to offer bacteria sufficient settlement area in the form of appropriate filter media such as ceramic rings.
• Since bacteria can lower the pH value, you should check it regularly.
• Since seawater inhibits bacterial growth, you can add 25 to 50 percent more for faster results.
• After using medication, dosing should only take place after 72 hours.
• Make sure there is sufficient oxygen / circulation in your aquarium.
