JBL STARTKIT

JBL StartKit is a combination set consisting of a water purifier and starter bacteria that is used to start freshwater aquariums. Tap water often contains heavy metals and sometimes chlorine, which is harmful to fish and invertebrates. With the help of the JBL Biotopol water conditioner, heavy metals are permanently set and chlorine neutralised. The water conditioner takes about 15 minutes to achieve this effect.

Then the aquarium starter JBL Denitrol should be added, which leads to useful cleaning bacteria in the aquarium that are not yet in the aquarium at the beginning. Fish excretions can only be effectively broken down by the cleaning bacteria. JBL Denitrol contains highly active, useful bacteria that break down the ammonium/ammonia and nitrite contained in the water. At the same time, fish excretions and other waste are broken down. JBL Denitrol contains 8 complementary bacterial cultures for the breakdown of protein (heterotrophic bacteria), ammonium and nitrite. Therefore, the fish can be stocked immediately after adding JBL Denitrol.

When using JBL Denitrol (15 minutes after adding JBL Biotopol) large amounts of bacteria are added immediately. When the first fish are added the next day, these bacteria also get food and begin to multiply. This ensures that there are enough bacteria right from the start and that neither ammonium/ammonia nor nitrite becomes a problem.

Application
For 10-30 litres, half a bottle of JBL Biotopol and half a bottle of JBL Denitrol are added.

For 30-60 litres, a whole bottle of JBL Biotopol and a whole bottle of JBL Denitrol are added.
