Description
Catfish have barbels around the mouth which they use to search for food on the substrate. They are peaceful omnivores and bottom-feeders that scavenge on the remains of decaying animals and plants in the wild. In an aquarium, while they do accept normal dry fish food, they also take on the role of scavengers.
Pronovo Corydoras Tab M are sinking food tablets that are specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of armoured catfish of size 1-20 cm. They contain both plant and animal-based ingredients including salmon, krill, shrimp and spirulina.
The fish food tablets contain no artificial additives.
Feeding recommendation:
Feed armoured catfish with Corydoras food tablets once or twice a day - as much as they can consume within a few minutes.
Tip: Allow the food tablets sink to the bottom so that the bottom-dwelling armoured catfish can eat them. As some species are crepuscular and nocturnal, turn off the aquarium lights before feeding them.
