Description
The JBL ProCristal UV-C EllbowConnect is a 90 ° angle for JBL ProCristal UV-C devices.
When installing UV-C water clarifiers, it often happens that the inlet and outlet have to be specially laid due to space problems. Elbows with seals are suitable for this, with which the inflows and outflows can be built individually. The JBL ProCristal UV-C EllbowConnect is made of robust black PP plastic. Multiple angles can be connected.
Algae in the water
Poor lighting conditions, over-fertilisation or an excess of nutrients can have negative effects on the aquarium water and promote algae. Floating algae lead to green, bacteria lead to whitish cloudiness.
Crystal clear and healthy amount of water
The JBL water clarifier removes cloudiness caused by bacteria and floating algae. The aquarium water is led through the stable, UV-resistant housing of the clarifier. The reflection of UV-C radiation kills the bacteria, other pathogens and floating algae of the water flowing through. This can also have a positive impact on the removal of stuck algae, e.g. Thread algae because their spores are also largely killed.
No harmful side effects
The UV-C clarification has no negative effects on important cleaning bacteria in the filter or changes the water values. With the help of UV-C water clarifiers, white and green water turbidity can be removed quickly and easily. The UV-C radiation with a wavelength of 200-280nm has a germicidal effect and can thus fight the causes of the cloudiness. The water from the aquarium or pond is pumped through the UV-C water clarifier at a recommended pump capacity, in which the UV-C radiation kills the germs in the water flowing past. Therefore, the amount of water flowing through must be adjusted and must not be too high. A table on the packaging provides information on the correct pump size.
