JBL ProClean Bac, 50 ml

JBL ProCleanBac are living cleaning bacteria for immediate help in the freshwater aquarium. Bacteria are not always negative organisms! In the soil and in water, they are among the most important and useful helpers, for example, to remove toxins or convert them into harmless substances.

Certain bacterial strains are contained in high concentrations in various JBL bacterial products, these convert problematic nitrogen compounds like ammonium (NH4), ammonia (NH3) and nitrite into harmless nitrogen compounds (nitrate (NO3) or nitrogen gas (N2). Live bacterial cultures in JBL products such as JBL ProCleanBac, JBL Denitrol, JBL FilterStart and JBL FilterBoost cannot be overdosed. This is because the bacteria may be added in over-concentration, but the survival of the bacteria is linked to the available nutrients. For example, if there is a lot of ammonium, a lot of bacteria can live and multiply, if there is hardly any ammonium, only some of the bacteria will survive. Here, supply and demand regulate the amount of bacteria.

The JBL ProCleanBac disposable cartridge can always be used after water changes, filter cleaning, medication use and the addition of new fish. It supports the filter and reduces debris.

When using JBL Denitrol (15 minutes after adding JBL Biotopol) large amounts of bacteria are added immediately. When the first fish are added the next day, these bacteria also get food and begin to multiply. This ensures that there are enough bacteria right from the start and that neither ammonium/ammonia nor nitrite becomes a problem.
