JBL ProFlora AquaBasis plus is a long-term nutrient storage medium that is introduced below the substrate and ensures strong plant roots and magnificent plant growth in aquarium plants in the freshwater aquarium and is effective for at least 5 years. The product is available in different containers.

Application
JBL ProFlora AquaBasis plus is placed under the ground and covered with a layer of washed soil. The effect lasts for at least 5 years. Since most aquarium plants absorb their nutrients mainly through the roots, it is important to provide them with nutrients. JBL AquaBasis Plus contains all essential nutrients for healthy and vigorous growth of aquarium plants. The function can be compared to a well-charged battery: JBL AquaBasis Plus immediately provides the energy (nutrients) for the plants and, when the battery is empty, can be recharged with the help of liquid fertilisers. For optimal plant care, the other fertiliser products from JBL are recommended in combination, which offers both root fertiliser, leaf, long-term and daily fertiliser. The fertiliser prevents and eliminates deficiency symptoms, such as iron and potassium deficiency. The algae growth is inhibited by the optimal growth of the plants.

Tip
Many vital trace elements can not be fertilised on "supply" because they are very sensitive and in the environment of an aquarium, they interact quickly and lose efficacy. As a result, they are no longer available for the plants. However, since plants can only develop their full splendour when no essential nutrient is lacking, JBL has developed a special fertiliser that contains all the sensitive trace elements and other important substances in an adapted form: the plant fertiliser 24. The daily addition of these substances allows splendid prosperity for all aquarium plants and is perfect plant care in the highest perfection. Together with the basic fertilisers and JBL AquaBasis plus, all aquarium plants are optimally supplied with mineral nutrients and trace elements. In addition, a supply of CO2 is recommended.
