Instructions for use:
- Remove the protective cap from the pH meter.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry thoroughly.
- Press the On/Off button to switch on the device before dipping the device in the liquid to be measured.
- Immerse the electrode in the liquid to be measured. Make sure the liquid is not above the immersion line.
- Remove the pH meter from the liquid and wait about 30 seconds for the reading to stabilise.
- Finally, rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it thoroughly.
- Turn off the meter by pressing the ON/OFF button again. Place the protective cap back on. The protective cap ensures that the electrode does not dry out.
Calibration:
- Turn on the pH meter by pressing the ON/OFF button.
- The delivery includes three calibration powders (4.00, 6.86 & 9.18). Choose the one whose pH value is closest to the liquid you want to measure. Dissolve the powder in 250 ml distilled water.
- Immerse the electrode of the pH meter in the prepared pH solution. Make sure the solution is not above the immersion line.
- Press the CAL button for 5 seconds. The display should now show the value 6.86 and flash.
- If using calibration solution 6.86, calibration is complete when the display stops flashing.
- If using calibration solutions 4.00 or 9.18, you must (while the display is flashing) press the CAL button once for 4.00 or twice for 9.18. When the display stops flashing, calibration is complete.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it thoroughly.
You can check the measured pH values again. To do this, immerse the measuring device in the pH solution and switch the device on again. The value should be shown on the display again. If this is not the case, repeat the calibration as described above. After the process is complete, rinse the electrode again with distilled water and dry it thoroughly.
CAUTION! The device is not waterproof.
