AquaArt Ludwigia brevipes

Ludwigia brevipes or short-stemmed ludwigia is a fantastic aquarium plant. Under ideal conditions (low nitrate value, relatively high phosphate value) it develops and retains a deep red tint in its leaves - ideal for adding colour and visual variety in the foreground and middle ground of larger aquariums as it can reach a height of up to 25 cm. For compact growth, it needs good light conditions and sufficient CO₂ and nutrients. It develops side shoots when pruned. A classic decorative plant with medium requirements.

Note: The plants in cups are cultivated in a lab. Aquatic plants in an vitro culture are sterile. They are therefore suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. In vitro plants harbour no stowaways such as parasites or snails. No pesticides are used.
