Tropic Marin PRO-REEF is a pharmaceutically pure sea salt that is specially adapted to the needs of reef aquariums and their inhabitants. In addition to all the macro and trace elements found in tropical seawater, PRO-REEF sea salt contains ideal concentrations of of calcium and magnesium. Carbonate hardness and pH value of the water are stabilised by adjusted buffering while maintaining an alkalinity range between 7 and 8 °dH

Application and dosage:

A salinity level between 32 and 35‰ is usually used as a reference for the salinity of seawater aquariums. Dissolve 35 ml of Tropic Marin PRO-REEF per 1 litre of water in a container. The saltwater is ready to use when the salt has completely dissolved and the solution is clear.

The specific gravity of the saltwater should be between 1.022 and 1.024 at 25°C. To maintain good water quality, replace 10% of aquarium water with the same amount of saltwater prepared with Tropic Marin PRO-REEF once every week.
